Trampled By Turtles & Leftover Salmon

Dillon Amphitheater

Minnesota’s Dillon Amphitheater will play host to a wild night of bluegrass-infused rock and country-driven rhythms on Saturday, August 8th, 2026. Trampled By Turtles team up with fellow Rocky Roadsters Leftover Salmon for an all-night extravaganza of guitar-driven high energy music. This back-to-back concert event promises to keep you on your feet all night long with two of the jam band world's most beloved acts performing night after night! These two groups are part of an incredibly long and extensive tour schedule which takes the bands to places such as Jackson, Wyoming; Missoula, Montana; and St. Paul, Minnesota. Performing in one of Colorado's most beautiful locations just outside of the capital city, the two groups will deliver their brand of music to a devoted audience of fans.

Trampled By Turtles

This Duluth trio has been kicking around the Minnesota music scene for years and have built a following by serving up hard, innovative music that blends folk, rock and progressive bluegrass. Their 2025 release, “Alan Sparhawk with Trampled by Turtles” is their latest foray into original music. Their 2022 album, “Alpenglow” was co-produced with Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy. Check out their hit single, “Victory”. Even though the North Mississippi Allstars weren't as familiar with acoustic music as singer/rhythm guitarist Dave Simonett is with bluegrass, the band had already put out three full-length albums. And every one of them has hit the top of the U.S. Billboard bluegrass chart, with "Palomino" occupying the spot for the past 52 weeks in the Top 10.

Leftover Salmon

Colorado's own Leftover Salmon has long been a leader in the jam band genre by creating intense live performances featuring elements of bluegrass, rock, country, cajun, and zydeco. Their upbeat style often calls for the entire audience to join in on the fun, particularly during songs such as "Up On The Hill Where They Do The Boogie". The band's latest 2025 release Let's Party About It includes 10 more original tracks to solidify their legacy in music. 7 studio albums, 3 live albums and a book documenting 30 years of original music written by this acclaimed band. The band first performed original music in a New Year's Eve show in 1989, when the Left Hand String Band and the Salmon Heads merged for a single night of music. Since then, the band has won 14 IBMA Awards and inspired nearly every bluegrass band to write original music, including The String Cheese Incident.
